Auguste Dubois (Janurary 8,1705-Present) is a Grandelumierian noble and a general. He is the head of the House Chatellerault and is the current Baron de Chatellerault.

Reign of Louis XI - Auguste Dubois[]

Being born in his family's rather averagely sized home, in the January of 1705, he was raised from birth to think like a man of business, his father wishing for him to continue on the family's several businesses. From the age of five on wards he would be tutored in maths and business, however when he became fifteen he would start skipping lessons, to secretly practice swordplay. By 1721 he would of enlisted into the Imperial Army, despite threats from his father. When his father finally gave in, allowing the different course in life, Auguste dedicated most of his time to the army, relatively quickly rising through the ranks. He would still spend time helping with the family business however.

When he was nineteen years of age, his father and mother would pass away in a fire, whilst inspecting one of the family owned bakeries. In the coming days Auguste would seem less enthusiastic with his duties, silent with his work. Upon having his parent's will read, he would inherit all the business and the assets that came with them. Now owning a string of bakeries, lumber mills, furniture factories, and cotton farms, his income would greatly increase. However with the added responsibility, he worked even harder to rise in the army, to get more time to dedicate to business, leaving the companies in the hands of the Board of Director's until he was able to take full control.

At the age of twenty eight, he would be at the rank of Colonel in His Majesty's Imperial Army, and participating in the War of the Palatine, serving mostly in the battles around Holland, where he would lead a group of over 1,000 men. When the war came to an end this would of come down to little over 240 men, due to this regiment seeing massive action in the battles.

Regency of Sophie - Auguste Dubois[]

He would finally reach his goal of becoming a general in 1739, when he was thirty four years of age. At this point he would reassert himself as head of each company his parents had left him, fifteen years previously. They had fallen into chaos, each of them almost bankrupt, spending much of his time working with each one, he brought them back to prosperity, putting them back as major names across the Empire, and even beyond.

When rebellions started occurring in the early 1740's, Auguste once again turned his attention majorly to His Majesty's Imperial Army, putting himself back into it as a major member. He would often be seen training troops at Fort Louis, his shouts being heard across the surrounding fields as he shaped young recruits, into men.
